Detectives have launched a murder probe after a 71-year-old woman was found dead in Hounslow.

Tragedy Strikes on Bath Road

Police were called to a home on Bath Road just after 10am on Sunday, 1 March, where the elderly woman was discovered seriously injured. Paramedics and officers rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the property.

Ongoing Murder Investigation, No Arrests Yet

Her family has been informed and are receiving support from specially trained officers. A crime scene remains sealed as the Met’s Specialist Crime Command hunts for answers surrounding her death.

Detective Chief Inspector Matthew Denby said: “This is a tragic incident in which a woman has lost her life. We are working to establish the full circumstances of what happened and are pursuing all lines of inquiry. We urge anyone in the Bath Road area who saw or heard anything unusual to come forward. Even the smallest detail could be vital.”
