A motorcyclist is fighting for his life after a violent crash near Clanfield. The smash involved a green Kawasaki bike and a red Citroen Xsara Picasso on East Meon Road just before 3.15pm on Tuesday, 18 July.
The 34-year-old rider from Swanmore suffered life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to Southampton General Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. Thankfully, the driver of the Citroen escaped unscathed.
Police Hunt Witnesses to Horror Crash
Sergeant Scott Kerr of the Havant Roads Policing Unit urged locals for help. “We want to hear from anyone travelling on East Meon Road between Clanfield and Warnford around 3pm that day. Did you see the collision or either vehicle beforehand?” he said.
