Masked Trio Launch Violent Whitley Robbery
Thames Valley Police are on the hunt for three masked men who struck fear into Whitley last Tuesday evening.
Blow to Two Young Men on Lower Meadow Road
At around 7pm on 17 March 2026, three men ambushed two young men in their twenties sitting in a car on Lower Meadow Road. The attackers brutally assaulted the victims before snatching several personal belongings and making a swift escape.
Getaway Caught on Blagdon Road
The trio fled in a black Mercedes spotted parked nearby on Blagdon Road. All three offenders were described as Black men dressed entirely in black, complete with black face coverings.
Thankfully, the victims escaped injury despite the violent attack.
Police Plead for Witness Help
Detective Constable Georgia Parrott said: “I urge anyone near the area or with information to get in touch. Check your CCTV or dash-cam footage from the time – it could be vital to our investigation. We know incidents like this cause concern, but we are treating this as a priority.”
