Man Arrested After Woman Found Dead in Hayes Home

A 26-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was discovered at a house in Hayes.

Police were called to Whittington Avenue at 9.30am on Monday, 24 September, following concerns for the welfare of a missing woman.

Woman Found Dead, Post-Mortem Pending

The woman, believed to be in her early 30s, was found dead inside the property. Next of kin have been informed, but formal identification is still pending.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Tuesday, 25 September to establish the cause of death.

Suspect in Hospital, Investigation Underway

The arrested man was taken into custody at a west London hospital later that day. He remains in hospital but his condition is not life-threatening.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command have launched a murder investigation. The man and the victim are believed to have known each other, and police say no one else is being sought in connection with the case.
