High-Speed M25 Chase Sparks Chaos as Car Drives Wrong Way
A silver Hyundai Ioniq triggered motorway mayhem after refusing to stop and barreling the wrong way on the M25. The reckless stunt ended in a multi-vehicle crash near Potters Bar.
Chase Through Potters Bar Ends in Collision
The drama kicked off on Tuesday 27 January around 1.20pm near junction 23 on the clockwise M25. Police were first alerted when the Hyundai failed to stop in Potters Bar town centre.
The car led officers on a wild pursuit through Potters Bar before jumping onto Southgate Road. It then entered the motorway at junction 24, heading back towards junction 23 — crucially, going the wrong way against oncoming traffic. Due to the extreme risk, police wisely called off the active chase.

- Going equipped
He remains in custody for questioning.
