A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 10.19pm last night (26 January) to reports of a shooting in Hamlet Road, SE19. We sent ambulance crews, paramedics in fast response cars, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer to the scene. A trauma team from London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched. The first paramedic arrived within around five minutes. We treated one patient at the scene and took him to a major trauma centre.”
