Sussex Police are investigating a fatal multi-car crash that occurred near Petworth on the A272. The incident has deeply affected the local community as officers work to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
A 65-year-old man from Midhurst, who was driving a white BMW, sustained serious injuries in the crash. He was immediately taken to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester and is currently reported to be in stable condition.
The collision also involved a black BMW and a white Audi. Fortunately, the drivers of these other vehicles were not injured in the incident.
