Eight men were arrested after a disorder broke out at the Steam Railway pub on Newport Street in Swindon on Wednesday night, 10 July, following the England versus Netherlands football match.

Four men have been charged with affray. They are Myles Fisher, 22, and Max Fisher, 18, both from Buckerfields, Ogbourne St George; Devonte O’Brien, 19, of Hanbury Road, Park South; and Zac Stride, 18, from Middleton Close, Walcot. All four have been remanded in custody ahead of their court hearing scheduled for 9 August.

In addition, police arrested another four men in their 20s on suspicion of violent disorder and assault. These individuals have been released on bail while investigations continue.

Wiltshire Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward. Anyone who saw the fight or has phone footage is urged to contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting reference 54240081066.
