Murder Probe Launched After Man Found Dead at Tamworth Station
British Transport Police have launched a murder investigation after a 28-year-old man was discovered dead in the car park of Tamworth Railway Station in the early hours of Sunday, 8 March.
Emergency Services Called to Scene
Staffordshire Police rushed to Victoria Road just after 2:20am following reports of an unresponsive man. Paramedics arrived quickly but tragically confirmed the man’s death at the scene.
Woman Arrested as Forensics Probe Continues
A 28-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in police custody while detectives carry out enquiries. A forensic team is combing the scene, which remains sealed off under a heavy police cordon.
