A car smashed onto the pavement outside the London Ambulance Service Headquarters on Waterloo Road in SE1, South East London. Police have confirmed there is no terror connection to the incident.

The female driver lost control and slammed into a lamppost. She was rushed to a south London hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.

Emergency Services Responded Quickly

Police were called at around 5:45pm on Wednesday, 1 November, following reports of the crash. Officers and paramedics arrived on the scene immediately.

No Pedestrian Injuries Reported

Thankfully, no pedestrians were hurt during the mishap.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 5:45pm on Wednesday, 1 November to reports of a car in collision with a lamppost on Waterloo Road, SE1. Emergency services attended. The female driver was taken to a south London hospital where she remains in a stable condition. There are no reported injuries to any pedestrians.”
