Buses Pulled from Gosport Estate After Teens Hurl Rocks, Endanger Passengers
First Bus halts service on Rowner route after waves of stone-throwing teens put passengers at risk. Frightened locals have flooded social media, naming suspects and begging for the chaos to stop.
Residents Fear Serious Accidents
A concerned parent warned: “One boy is wearing a black t-shirt, grey skinny jeans, and a tracksuit jacket. He’s tall and lanky with a dark ice gel haircut and a bit of a big nose, aged around 14-16.” They added, “They will end up causing an accident. Babies and elderly use these buses.”
Locals fear the ongoing violence will force the bus company to scrap the route altogether, hitting the community hard.
First Bus Suspends Route Until Further Notice
First Bus confirmed: Due to youths throwing missiles at our buses in Howe Road, we have withdrawn our 9/9a services today until further notice. The threat has stopped buses running on the Rowner estate, leaving many stranded.
Community Urged to Act
Residents appeal to parents to talk to their children and stop the dangerous antics before someone gets seriously hurt.
