Two thieves were caught red-handed after carrying out a spree of daring car thefts in the dead of night. The suspects were apprehended yesterday following three break-ins in one area and another nearby, all occurring in the early hours.

The criminals are believed to have used lock snapping techniques on doors to gain entry and locate car keys. Their stolen vehicles included a speedy Fiat 500 Abarth and a sleek Audi TT R8.

The culprits, aged 30 and 20, were later arrested in Shirley, Solihull, putting an end to their night of crime.
