Armed police were scrambled to Hammersmith at 6.48pm on Tuesday, 21 March, following reports of a man seen carrying a firearm on Black Lion Lane.
Officers conducted a thorough search of the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description provided. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
The Metropolitan Police continue to investigate the matter and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Members of the public can contact police by calling 101 and quoting CAD 6033/21MAR.
