Knife Drama in Deal: Man Arrested After Armed Police Raid

Kent Police rushed to a private residence on St Richard’s Road, Deal, at around 8.20pm on Sunday, 15 August 2021. Officers responded after reports that a man was armed with a weapon.
Helicopters Join the Hunt
Local patrols and armed units scrambled to the scene. The National Police Air Service also swooped in to assist the operation.
Man Detained, Knife Seized
A man has been arrested and is currently in custody as cops continue their enquiries. A knife was recovered during the raid and is being examined as key evidence.
