Wiltshire Sex Offender Locked Up After Flouting Court Orders
A notorious sex offender from Wiltshire who repeatedly ignored the law has finally been thrown behind bars. Detective calls her “no place in society.”
Samantha Franklin’s Bizarre Breach Spree
Samantha Franklin, 34, pleaded guilty to five breaches of her Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). This order followed her shocking conviction for possessing 556 indecent images of children.
Despite a suspended sentence last November, Franklin blatantly ignored the SHPO’s strict rules. She used the swingers’ website FabSwingers under the fake name “Pretty Eyes 901.”
Her defiance didn’t stop there. Franklin deleted her internet history, installed file-cleaning software, and failed to inform police about using internet-enabled devices. She even secretly created Instagram and FabSwingers accounts without permission.
Judge Slams Franklin: 50 Weeks in Jail
On 14 January at Swindon Magistrates’ Court, Franklin was finally sentenced to 50 weeks in prison.
Detective Constable Jason Walsh from Wiltshire’s Child Internet Exploitation Team ripped into her actions:
“She has shown a total disregard for the court system and seems to have totally underestimated the seriousness of her own offending and the SHPO she was issued with. I hope she spends her prison sentence reflecting on the crimes she has committed – there is no place in society for people who behave in this way.”
