West London Man Arrested on Terror Charges Following Met Police Probe
Counter Terrorism Command Makes Move
Amine Matthew Sabrane Conroy, 25, from West London, has been hit with terrorism charges after a Met police investigation. The Counter Terrorism Command laid the charges today, Monday 29 June.
Serious Allegations Filed
Conroy faces accusations of:
- Collecting documents likely to aid a terrorist act, under section 58(1)(a) of the Terrorism Act 2000.
- Publishing information that could help someone planning terrorism, under section 58A(1)(b) of the same act.
Court Appearance Set for Today
The 25-year-old is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court later this afternoon. No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
