London was shaken by a wave of violent incidents over the weekend, including a shooting in Wembley and multiple knife attacks across the city.

Teen Shot at Wembley: Fighting for His Life

Chaos erupted early Sunday morning at Atlantic Crescent, Wembley Park. Police were called to the scene at 5.27am following reports of a shooting near South Way and First Way. An 18-year-old boy was found unresponsive outside the Crystal Club and remains in critical condition four days later.

Rafael Reveane Rodriguez, 39, from Middleton Road, Morden, was charged with attempted murder on Wednesday, September 24. Dennis Gambrah, 32, from Lewisham, was arrested the day before. Authorities have indicated that six more suspects are expected to be arrested in connection with the shooting.

Leicester Square Knife Attack: Four Slashed in Night Horror

Just hours after the Wembley shooting, violence struck again in Leicester Square. Around 1am on Sunday, four men in their 20s and 30s suffered knife wounds. Fortunately, none of the injuries were critical.

A 50-year-old man was arrested and faces multiple charges, including grievous bodily harm, affray, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of Class B drugs.

Knife Crime Spikes Across London

Other recent incidents include:

  • Edgware: On Monday, September 22, a man armed with a knife caused panic at a McDonald’s on Stonegrove. A teenager sustained a minor knee injury but was treated at the scene.
  • Brixton: Two 16-year-olds were injured in a knife fight on Acre Lane Tuesday evening. One teen suffered a stab wound; neither injury was serious. Police responded shortly after 5pm.

The Metropolitan Police are urging anyone with information to come forward to help address the surge in violence across London.
