Two thugs have been locked up after a shopper was viciously stabbed trying to stop a shoplifting spree at an Asda Express petrol station in Launceston.

£10 Beer Theft Sparks Brutal Attack

The drama erupted late on 2 July 2024, around 11:25pm. Casey Foster, 22, and Royston Morgan, 23, stormed into the store. Morgan grabbed a crate of 12 beers worth £10 and strutted out without paying.

An employee challenged the pair, and a brave shopper stepped in after spotting the theft. Then chaos exploded.

Despite the horrific assault, the victim managed to get home before rushing to Royal Cornwall Hospital. Thankfully, his injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

Justice Served: Thugs Sentenced After CCTV Evidence

Actions were caught on CCTV, leading to the swift arrests of Foster and Morgan. Both appeared at Truro Crown Court where they were sentenced.
