Cash Machine Heist: Two Men Charged in Ashford ATM Robbery

Detectives have swooped on two suspects over a brazen cash machine theft in Ashford. Victor Coseru, 27, from Totesti, Romania, and Gica-fanica Radu, 30, who has no fixed address, were charged with burglary on Saturday, 9 February 2019.

The charges come after cash was stolen from an ATM at the Co-op on Faversham Road, Kennington, in the early hours of Thursday, 7 February. The machine was left damaged in the daring raid.

Four Others Released as Hunt Continues

Meanwhile, four men arrested in Ashford on the same day have been released, pending further investigation. Coseru and Radu remain in custody and are set to appear at berkshire999.co.uk/where/canterbury/" title="Canterbury" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked">Canterbury Magistrates Court on Saturday, 9 February.
