Two drug dealers have been jailed in Bristol following a significant police crackdown on county lines drug trafficking. Khalil Mohamod, 38, from Cardiff, and Carlton Morris, 58, of Montpelier in Bristol, were sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on Friday 9 February.
The pair were arrested in February last year after an extensive investigation by the County Lines Team. Police uncovered their involvement in a network supplying crack cocaine, cocaine, and heroin across the Bristol area.
Carlton Morris pleaded guilty at Bristol Magistrates’ Court and received a two-year prison sentence for supplying crack cocaine and heroin. Khalil Mohamod admitted charges at Bristol Crown Court, including possession with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. He was sentenced to four and a half years in prison.
Police described the operation as a significant blow to the local drug trade and a positive step for community safety in Bristol.
