Tragic Christmas stabbing kills beloved Nottingham dad
Tributes have poured in for Reece Connor, a devoted father of two, stabbed to death on Christmas Day in Nottingham. The 32-year-old was fatally attacked around 8:15 PM on Wollaton Road on December 25.
Two charged in Reece Connor murder
Police have charged a 23-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy with Reece’s murder. Meanwhile, three other men have been released on bail as the investigation continues.
Family pay heartfelt tribute to ‘funniest, kindest man’
In a moving statement, Reece’s family described him as “an amazing father of two beautiful boys who he cherished with his whole life.” They recalled him as “the funniest, kind, and caring man who would do anything for the people he loved.”
“He was the type of man who would drop everything in a second to help a friend in need with no questions asked.”
Reece’s family said he was a “strong-willed individual” who worked tirelessly for his girlfriend and sons, lighting up every room with his infectious smile and laughter.
‘Our world will never be the same’
The statement continued, “Our world will never be the same without this wonderful man around to make a dark cold world feel so bright and wonderful. Our boys will always know their daddy and how much of an amazing man he was. We will miss him so much and cherish every memory we’ve ever had with him.”
“He may be gone from our lives, but he will never be gone from our home and our hearts.”
