Northampton Skate Park Stabbing: Victim Named as Mason Miller

Police have named the 20-year-old man killed in a shocking stabbing at a Northampton skate park. Mason Miller was fatally stabbed on Wednesday afternoon in the Briar Hill area.

Second Victim Hospitalised with Life-Threatening Injuries

A 17-year-old was also stabbed during the attack at the Ringway skate park. He remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries. Detectives and officers have been working non-stop since the incident at around 3.30pm.

Murder Investigation Underway as Police Hunt Suspects

Dozens of officers have launched a full-scale murder probe. There has been a strong police presence with house-to-house enquiries and high-visibility patrols to reassure the local community.

Detective Inspector Matt Bly of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit said: “This remains a murder investigation. Our thoughts are with Mason’s family at this difficult time. The family are asking for privacy as they come to terms with this tragedy.”

DI Bly added: “We are pursuing multiple lines of inquiry and need the public’s help. Anyone with information, including CCTV, doorbell or phone footage, should contact us immediately.”

  • Quote incident number 26000098294 when providing info.
  • Two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old youth have appeared in court charged with violent disorder and possession of an offensive weapon.
  • They were granted conditional bail and placed in local authority care.
