Woman Stabbed to Death on Watford Street
A woman in her 50s was found fatally stabbed on Clarke Way, Watford, on Monday evening. Police were called to the scene at 5.10pm after reports of a stabbing. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Crime Scene Cordoned Off Overnight
Clark Way was sealed off for investigations on Monday night and into Tuesday. Police described the attack as an “isolated incident” and are working to uncover the full circumstances.
Investigation Underway
Detective Inspector Iain Macpherson, leading the inquiry, said:
“Our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the victim. They are being supported by specialist officers, and we ask that their privacy is respected at what continues to be a very difficult time for them.”
