Teen Jailed for Life Over Brutal Murder of 12-Year-Old Leo Ross
West Midlands Police have finally named the 15-year-old boy locked up for life in the savage killing of 12-year-old Leo Ross. Kian Moulton, once protected by child reporting rules, was unmasked following a judge’s decision on February 10.
Chilling Attack in Trittiford Mill Park
Last January, young Leo was viciously stabbed to death while walking through Trittiford Mill Park. CCTV showed Moulton cycling nearby just before the horrifying assault. After plunging the knife into Leo, Moulton dumped the murder weapon in bushes beside a nearby stream.
No Motive – Just Cold-Blooded Deceit
Police revealed there’s no known connection or motive between Moulton and Leo. In a twisted move, Moulton persuaded a passerby to call the cops, claiming he had simply found Leo. He even lied to officers at the scene before riding home like nothing had happened.
Intense Police Hunt Ends in Arrest
Leo tragically died from his wounds later that day. Detectives launched a full-scale probe, analysing hundreds of hours of CCTV and doorbell camera footage. Their efforts led to Moulton’s arrest at his house, where he refused to speak and smugly claimed the murder knife wouldn’t be found.
