Swindon Drug Dealer Jailed Again for Peddling Class A Drugs

A notorious Swindon drug dealer has been locked up for a second time in just 12 months after pleading guilty to supplying crack cocaine, heroin, and cocaine.

Simon Huckvale Back Behind Bars

Simon Huckvale, 37, from White Castle, Toothill, was jailed for four years last June after being caught with Class A drugs worth up to £120,000. Officers also uncovered evidence he was cuckooing a vulnerable victim.

Released on licence in October, Huckvale was swiftly caught again in January by the Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team. Police suspected he had returned to drug dealing.

Cash and Class A Drugs Found at Home

  • During a search, Huckvale had two bundles of cash on him.
  • Data from his phone confirmed ongoing drug supply activity.
  • Officers discovered cocaine, crack cocaine, and heroin at his home, with a street value of up to £14,000.
  • Piles of cash totalling around £2,500 were seized.

New Prison Sentence and Future Proceeds Hearing

Huckvale pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possessing criminal property. On 25 February at Swindon Crown Court, he was sentenced to three years and nine months behind bars.

A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing is scheduled later this year to target his illegal profits.

Police Vow to Crack Down on Dealers

“This is the second time officers have caught and arrested Simon Huckvale in just 14 months,” said PC Thomas from the LPTT.

“He showed complete disregard for his early release and immediately returned to criminality.

“His arrest has significantly impacted drug supply in the community. We will keep targeting dealers like Huckvale to make Swindon safer.”
