Quick Justice: Slough Drug Dealer Jailed for Nearly Three Years
A 21-year-old from Slough has been slammed behind bars for almost three years after a lightning-fast police crackdown on drugs.
Haneef Sheraz, of Greystoke Road, was hit with a two-year and ten-month sentence at Reading Crown Court for possession with intent to supply Class A cocaine.
Caught Red-Handed with £1,500 of Cocaine
It all went down on August 1 last year when Thames Valley Police stopped Sheraz on Parluant Road. A quick search turned up 20 bags of cocaine — valued at around £1,520 on the streets.
He was arrested immediately and charged the very next day, showing police meant business.
Cop’s Warning: “We Know Who You Are and We Will Get You”
“I’m glad our officers took Sheraz off the streets,” said PC Tom Hughes-Parry of the Slough Proactive Team. “We’ll keep using both visible patrols and undercover tactics to catch drug dealers. Our message is clear: We know who you are and we will get you.”
PC Hughes-Parry also urged the public to stay vigilant and report any drug activity. “The public’s help is vital. If you see drug dealing around you, report it by calling 101 or use our online reporting system.”
