Man Busted for Drugs and Disorder at Gillingham Football Match
A man has been charged following trouble at a football game in Gillingham.
Chaos at Priestfield Stadium
At around 4pm on Saturday 28 October 2023, officers responding to a separate incident at Priestfield Stadium were confronted by a man who became verbally abusive and aggressive. The man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
Cocaine Found in Search
Police later discovered a small quantity of cocaine during a search.
Charges Filed Against 18-Year-Old
Jake Harling, 18, from Blenheim Road, Sittingbourne, now faces multiple charges including possession of cocaine, being drunk and disorderly in public, intoxication at a sports ground, possession of a prohibited substance at a sporting event, and a public order offence.
He is set to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 6 December 2023.
