Connie Parsons, 32, has been issued a five-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) banning her from entering the entire Solihull borough after committing a series of shoplifting offences.
Parsons, a repeat shoplifting offender, was caught stealing from multiple stores across Solihull. The Shirley neighbourhood policing team played a key role in securing the court order, which came into effect on 6 October.
“We know the disruption and harm caused by persistent shop thefts to businesses in the Solihull borough,” police stated. “Several offenders have recently faced jail for these crimes and for breaching similar orders.”
The CBO prohibits Parsons from setting foot anywhere in the borough. Should she breach this order, she faces immediate arrest and possible imprisonment.
“CBOs allow our officers to impose conditions on the whereabouts of known offenders, including banning them from areas where they commit crimes and anti-social behaviour,” police explained.
This firm crackdown sends a clear message: those targeting Solihull businesses will be caught and face serious consequences.
