Teen Charged with Murder of Woman Found Stabbed in Brighton

A 17-year-old boy has been charged with the murder of a 69-year-old woman found dead at a home in Cedars Gardens, Withdean, Brighton on Thursday evening, 7 January 2021.

Victim Believed to be Susan Addis

Although formal ID is pending, the victim is believed to be Susan Addis, who lived at the address. She was discovered with stab wounds. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after a postmortem scheduled for Monday, 11 January.

Family Plea for Privacy

“At this very sad and distressing time, the family kindly asks that all media respect their privacy. The family are currently in a state of shock,” her loved ones said.
