Man in Life-Threatening Condition After QPR vs Luton Clash

Just after 9.50pm on Friday, 19 November, police on duty after the Championship showdown between QPR and Luton Town found a 52-year-old man with a serious head injury.

The man, from the Luton area, was rushed to hospital by London Ambulance Service and remains in a life-threatening condition. His family has been informed.

Possible Assault Near Uxbridge Road

Officers are investigating how the man was hurt. Early signs suggest he may have been assaulted or caught up in post-match disorder around Uxbridge Road, near Davenport Road junction.

Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage

Detectives from the Met’s Central West BCU are urging anyone who saw trouble after the game or the incident that caused the injury to come forward. Mobile phone videos or photos could be crucial.

Detective Constable Arrash Faghihi said: “This man suffered a serious head injury. It’s vital we find witnesses quickly. The area was packed after the match, so there are bound to be people with key information. I urge them to contact us to help build a full picture of what happened.”
