London Underground Cracks Down on Fare Dodgers

Fare evasion prosecutions are skyrocketing. TfL took 3,691 fare dodgers to court in 2024-25 – the highest number in six years.

The message is loud and clear: dodging Tube fares now comes with a seriously painful price tag.
