Nursery Worker Abuse Shock: Freed After Just 5 Months
A nursery worker caught abusing 21 babies has been released after serving only five months of her eight-year sentence. Roksana Lecka, who admitted harming multiple infants, has now been deported back to Poland — sparking fears she could work with children again.
Lecka’s Shocking Crime: 21 Babies Abused
In September, Lecka was sentenced after confessing to abusing seven children and being convicted of hurting another 14. Despite the horrific nature of her crimes, she served barely half a year before being kicked out of the UK.
Deported but Danger Lurks
Lecka was deported last Thursday and banned from returning to Britain. But there’s no guarantee she’ll face punishment in Poland. Worried parents fear the ex-nursery worker could slip back into childcare roles abroad.
Home Office Vows Tough Action
“Lecka poses a clear risk to public safety, and we, as in all cases, have worked tirelessly to secure her deportation. She has joined nearly 60,000 people with no right to remain who have been deported or removed from the United Kingdom by this government. We will not allow foreign criminals and illegal migrants to exploit our laws. We are reforming human rights laws and replacing the broken appeals system so we can scale up deportations.”
