Alexandru Tapurin, a 35-year-old man from Tizzick Close, Norwich, has been charged with several sexual offences after incidents that took place over the weekend.
Tapurin was arrested on Sunday, January 21, 2024, on suspicion of sexual assault and was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He faces three counts of sexual assault at different locations across Norwich. Additional charges against him include false imprisonment and causing a woman aged 16 or over to engage in non-penetrative sexual activity. The alleged offences occurred between January 20 and 21, 2024.
On Tuesday, January 23, 2024, Tapurin appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court where he was remanded in custody. His next court hearing is scheduled for February 20 at Norwich Crown Court.
