Police are actively searching for Leighton Tabone, 23, in connection with the fatal stabbing of 64-year-old Mark Noke. Mr. Noke was found dead at his home on Warburton Road in Thornhill during the early hours of 25 February.

Leighton Tabone, who has known links to Southampton and Gosport, is wanted not only for the murder of Mark Noke but also for breaching his prison licence. This breach follows a previous conviction for knife possession last year.

Acting Detective Chief Inspector Howard Broadribb said, “We want to speak to Leighton in connection with Mark’s death, and urge him to come forward. Anyone harbouring him could be committing an offence and may be arrested. If you see him, don’t approach—call 999 immediately.”

He added, “We’ve conducted numerous enquiries but now need the public’s help. If you know where he is, contact us directly or anonymously through Crimestoppers. Extra patrols remain active in the Thornhill area following Mark’s tragic death.”

Leighton Tabone is described as being 5ft 11in tall with a slim build. He has blond, short hair, brown eyes, and either a moustache and goatee or may be clean shaven.

If you have any information, police ask you to call 101 or report online quoting reference 44230077698 or Operation Hibiscus. CCTV footage can also be shared via the police website. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.
