Early Morning Shooting Shakes Portsmouth Neighborhood
Police are hunting for witnesses after a 21-year-old man was shot in the leg in Portsmouth at dawn. Officers rushed to a home on Hudson Road at 5:19am on Sunday, February 3, following reports of an injured man.
The victim was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. Thankfully, his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Police Seek Witnesses to Blast
Officers remain at the scene, launching enquiries and boosting patrols in the area. If you were near Hudson Road around the time of the shooting, police want to hear from you.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious, call 101 and quote Operation Lament,” urged officers.
