Ex-Eastenders Star’s Ex Shot in North London Car Park
Dave Fairbairn, the ex-partner of former Eastenders actress Gillian Taylforth, was shot in the stomach in a shocking attack last Sunday evening.
Gunfire Erupts at Popular Enfield Venue
The shooting happened just after 7pm in the car park of The Roast, a busy spot in Toby Carvery, Enfield, North London. Armed police swiftly locked down the area, trapping staff and customers inside while they hunted for the lone gunman.
Fairbairn, 64, was hit at close range but miraculously the bullet missed any major organs. He underwent emergency surgery to remove the slug and remains in a stable condition in hospital.
Death Threats and Drama Surround Shooting
Friends have revealed that both Dave and Gillian Taylforth have been receiving death threats in recent weeks. Close sources say the former soap star is “in shock” after Dave called her from his hospital bed following the attack.
Fairbairn is currently out on bail after a cannabis factory was discovered at his home. Police are keeping a close eye on him at the hospital as investigations continue.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Metropolitan Police confirmed they were called to Whitewebbs Lane, Enfield at 7.15pm on Sunday. A man in his 50s was treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service before being rushed to hospital.
So far, no arrests have been made. Officers are urging anyone with information to contact them on 101, referencing CAD 7351/5 July.
