Police are on the hunt for a key witness after a savage assault tied to a road crash in Farnham Common.
Crash on Victoria Road
At about 7:10pm on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, a white Vauxhall van laden with ladders slammed into a cyclist stopped on Victoria Road. The man, in his forties, suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to hospital but has now been discharged.
Two Slough Men Arrested and Bailed
- A 22-year-old has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm, attempted murder, dangerous driving, leaving the scene, firearm possession without a certificate, and theft.
- A 43-year-old faces suspicion of attempted murder, dangerous driving, and failing to stop after the collision.
Both suspects from Slough have been released on conditional bail until 4 June 2026.
Police Urge E-Scooter Rider and Witnesses to Step Up
Detective Constable Louise Sharples said, “We’re desperate to hear from a person on an e-scooter who stopped to help the victim after the crash. If you were there or have dash-cam footage, please come forward – your information could be vital.”
