Brutal Knife Attack Rocks Small Heath
A terrifying knife assault has rattled Small Heath. On the evening of 9 August last year, two men stormed a property on Monica Road. They targeted a man sitting on his quad bike, shoved him to the ground, and slashed him repeatedly with a flick knife. Miraculously, the victim survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
One Attacker Locked Up, Other Still Hunting Ground
West Midlands Police quickly sprang into action. Detectives tracked down suspects Taylor Burns, 26, from Sutton Coldfield, and Jafir Nazir, 29. Burns pleaded guilty to wounding with intent and carrying a knife. On 16 March, he was slammed with a hefty six-and-a-half-year prison sentence.
