West Midlands Police have charged 21-year-old Haytham Almosuli with attempted murder after a shooting rocked Smethwick.

Man Shot in Leg in Early Morning Attack

The drama unfolded just after 1.30am on 11 March on Bearwood Road. A 19-year-old man was blasted in the leg and rushed to hospital. He was later arrested on suspicion of violent disorder, but has since been released on bail.

Almosuli Faces String of Serious Charges

Haytham Almosuli is now hit with multiple charges including:

  • Attempted murder
  • Possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life
  • Possession of two zombie knives in a private place
  • Theft
  • Fraud
  • Motoring offences

He is due to appear at berkshire999.co.uk/where/birmingham/" title="Birmingham" data-wpil-keyword-link="linked" data-wpil-monitor-id="5910">Birmingham magistrates today.
