Man Charged Over Raw Meat Hate Crime Outside Gurdwara
A shocking hate crime unfolded in West Bromwich when a man dumped a bag of raw meat outside the Guru Nanak Gurdwara. West Midlands Police have confirmed the arrest and charge of Tomasz Bruch, 42, in connection with the incident.
Police Nab Suspect After Meat Dumping Incident
The disturbing act happened on December 22, when Bruch allegedly walked past the gurdwara on Edward Street and emptied raw meat outside the sacred building. CCTV footage and a thorough investigation by the West Bromwich Neighbourhood Team quickly led to his identification and charge. Bruch has no fixed address.
Remanded in Custody Ahead of Court Hearing
Bruch remains in custody and is set to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates’ Court later today. Police have vowed to clamp down hard on hate crimes.
“We have zero tolerance for hate crimes and are committed to bringing offenders to justice,” a West Midlands Police spokesperson said.
