March 2026 has been a grim month as courts lock up men guilty of vile crimes—from domestic violence to child sexual offences and drug dealing. Here are the shocking details and the villains behind the headlines.

Domestic Abuser’s Suspended Sentence Slammed, Jailed for Three Years

Reice Bennett, 28, aka Reice Taylor, has finally been locked up after a brutal abuse spree against his then-wife Eloise Bennett in Eltham.

He choked Eloise until she nearly passed out, battered her with a leather belt, punched, kicked, and even threw a beer at her. Eloise, 30, told us:

“Anything could start it. One time I made chicken fajitas, and that wasn’t what he wanted so he strangled me until my eyes went fuzzy and I started blacking out. I thought I was going to die.”

Reice was first given a suspended two-year sentence after admitting to coercive control, assault, threats to kill, and strangulation. But the Court of Appeal branded that decision “too lenient” and ordered an immediate three-year jail term.

Shop Worker Busted for Luring and Sexually Assaulting Schoolgirl

Mohammed Daqiq, 26, used his job at Bargain World in Sydenham to trap a 16-year-old girl.

In June 2024, he tricked her into a stockroom, locked the door, and assaulted her despite her protests. The traumatised teen has since spoken out about the attack.

Daqiq was slapped with a three-year sentence and will be deported after jail. Bargain World stressed they had no ties to his actions and condemned his behaviour.

Coach Driver Jailed 12 Years for Raping Underage Girls

Liam Ross, 30, from Dartford, faces 12 years behind bars for horrific sexual crimes.

He paid a 12-year-old for sex, claiming ignorance of her age—but UK law holds no excuse. He also raped and assaulted a 16-year-old girl.

Judge Ruth Downing called it a “difficult and disturbing” case and condemned Ross’s “lawful but inappropriate” relationships with other schoolgirls, noting he ignored police warnings.

Repeat Sex Offender Jail for Breaking Court Order

Goherali Damani, 60, from Morden, was locked up after flagrantly breaking sexual harm prevention orders.

Previously caught for sexually assaulting girls as young as 12 and indecent exposure on London buses, Damani was banned from public transport unless using a registered Oyster card and from sitting next to unknown women.

On November 18, he broke the rules by sitting next to a woman on a Lambeth bus without a valid card. Magistrates sentenced him to one year in prison for blatant defiance.

Drug Dealer Tosses Class A During Police Chase—Now Jailed

Akindele Balogun, 43, of Orpington, was nabbed after throwing Class A drugs out his car window during a high-speed police chase on the M20 in Ashford.

Police boxed in his vehicle after spotting packages flying from the car. More drugs were found along the chase route.

Balogun was already breaching probation by breaking curfew and giving a false address. He’s now sitting on a four-year stretch for possession with intent to supply.
