Gosport Man Found Guilty of Horrific Child Sex Offences
A 64-year-old man from Gosport has been convicted of shocking sexual crimes against a child under 10. The offences happened at his home between 2021 and 2024.
Stephen Street Convicted After Nine-Day Trial
Stephen Street, from Aspengrove, was found guilty at Portsmouth Crown Court following a nine-day hearing. He faces multiple charges including:
- Seven counts of sexual assault on a girl under 13
- One count of sexual assault by penetration on a girl under 13
- One count of causing or inciting sexual activity with a girl under 13
- One count of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child
- One count of sexual communication with a child
Additional Shocking Admissions
On January 19, Street admitted to further disturbing offences:
- Six counts of making or possessing indecent images of children
- One count of possessing extreme pornographic images
He remains in custody and is due to be sentenced at Portsmouth Crown Court on 27 March 2026.
