The force’s Kinetic Intervention Team joined forces with the Proactive Team, Dog Section, and Neighbourhood Policing to serve warrants across Highfield Avenue, Fraser Street, Stanley Street, Hainton Avenue, Pasture Street, Oxford Street, and Harrington Street.

Officers found suspected class B and C drugs, plus mobile phones tied to drug dealing and other criminal property. Four suspects were hauled in for questioning.

Four Arrested on Drug Supply Charges

  • A 30-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were nabbed on Sixhills Street over allegedly supplying class A drugs.
  • A 27-year-old man from Highfield Avenue faces similar drug supply charges for class A substances.
  • A 50-year-old man from Oxford Street was arrested for possession with intent to supply class B drugs and for failing to appear in court.

Digital Forensics Team Digs Deeper as Police Hunt Continues

“The mobile phones seized will now undergo detailed analysis by our Digital Forensics Team,” said Detective Inspector Tom Kelly. “These investigations can be lengthy and complex, but enquiries remain ongoing. Tackling drug-related crime across our force area continues to be a priority.”

“We investigate every tip-off. Even if you don’t see immediate action, that intelligence helps build a bigger picture. It gives us a better chance of striking the right blow at the right time.”
