Brutal Daylight Attack: Drunk Yob Clocked Woman in the Face
A 29-year-old thug has been locked up after landing a savage, unprovoked punch on a woman in broad daylight. Tristan Fretwell launched the shocking attack on Milton Street, Nottingham, on the evening of 6 February.
CCTV shows Fretwell sneaking up from behind before slugging the woman full in the face, sending her crashing to the pavement. She was out with her partner and friend, all left stunned and baffled as to why she was targeted.
Quick-Thinking Cops Nab Offender Red-Handed
Nearby officers witnessed the attack and immediately gave chase. They caught Fretwell at the scene, heavily intoxicated and still aggressive. The next day, he claimed to have no memory of the assault and initially refused to speak.
“She had come to Nottingham to see her favourite band. What should have been a brilliant night out was ruined by this violent attack.”
