Dealer Locked Up for Six Years in Oxford Drug Bust

Durrell Lemonius, 34, of Blackbird Leys, Oxford, has been sentenced to six years in prison for dealing crack cocaine. Thames Valley Police uncovered his drug supply ring after a sting operation.

Police Catch Crack Dealer Red-Handed

The bust took place on 7 January 2026. Police spotted Lemonius handing drugs to a suspected buyer behind Balfour Road. The buyer was searched, and officers seized two wraps of suspected class A drugs on the spot.

A search of Lemonius’s home turned up weighing scales, another stash of class A drugs, a mobile phone, and cash. He was arrested the next day and charged with drug supply offences.

“Our team will continue to proactively target and prosecute offenders who seek to deal drugs in our communities,” said PC Rasa Martisiute of the Reading Proactive Team.
