Neighbourhood officers caught a suspected drug deal red-handed in Huntingdon’s Oxmoor area on 17 March 2022.

Drug Deal Sting Leads to Two Arrests
Kyle Green was stopped at the scene. On the ground nearby, police found a partly smoked cannabis joint, cash, a mobile phone, and five wraps of crack cocaine.

DNA Evidence Clears Green, Points to Another Suspect
Tests on the seized drugs revealed a surprise twist. The DNA on the packaging did not match Green, leaving him looking innocent of the crack cocaine charge. Further investigation led officers to arrest Tyler Atkins-Jenner. His fingerprint matched the DNA on the drugs, linking him directly to the stash.

More Evidence Found at Atkins-Jenner’s Home
Police raided Atkins-Jenner’s house on Graveley Road, Offord D’Arcy. They uncovered more cannabis and mobile phones tied to drug dealing.

Sentence Handed Down at Peterborough Crown Court
Tyler Atkins-Jenner, 25, pleaded guilty to supply of crack cocaine and cannabis. He was sentenced to 2 years and 4 months behind bars on 19 July. Kyle Green, 38, admitted involvement in cannabis supply. He received a seven-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months.

The Huntingdon operation shows how street patrols and DNA evidence can crack down on local drug dealing rings.
