A 24-year-old man was stabbed in a shocking attack on Carr Lane East, Croxteth, last Saturday evening.
The alarm was raised around 6.30pm on March 12. Police rushed to the scene, and the victim was taken to hospital with serious chest and leg wounds. He remains in a critical condition.
Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East, has been charged with Section 18 wounding. She is due to appear in court today, Monday, March 13, at 1 Magistrates Court. Two other individuals arrested in connection with the incident have been released on bail as the investigation continues.
