A notorious county lines dealer who flooded Wiltshire with Class A drugs has been caged for seven years. The Swindon Local Policing Tasking Team led the crackdown that finally brought Richard Morgan to justice.

Police Raid in Bath Snags Killer Dealer

On September 10 last year, officers swooped on a Church Road, Bath address with backup from the Metropolitan Police’s Operation Orochi unit. They caught 33-year-old Morgan red-handed at the scene.

Tied to Infamous ‘Professor’ Drug Line

Morgan, also of Church Road, was suspected of running the notorious ‘Professor’ crack cocaine and heroin line from April to September 2023. Though no drugs were found during the raid, police seized phones linking him directly to text adverts pushing drugs across Bath and western Wiltshire.

Swindon Crown Court Delivers Heavy Sentence

After a tense trial at Swindon Crown Court, Morgan was found guilty and handed a hefty seven-year prison sentence on January 14. This verdict deals a severe blow to the ring flooding the region with deadly class A substances.
