Brothers Jailed After Police Bust Massive Ecstasy Factory on Isle of Sheppey

A man puffing nitrous oxide from balloons in Maidstone town centre has sparked the takedown of a huge ecstasy operation on the Isle of Sheppey.

Nitrous Oxide User Leads Police to Drug Empire

On the evening of Friday 4 October 2024, CCTV spotted 23-year-old Bryn Graham inhaling gas from balloons on Week Street, Maidstone. Curious cops stopped and searched him, finding yellow tablets, white powder, and £240 cash hidden in his bumbag.

A search at his Eastchurch home unearthed thousands in cash, stacks of ketamine, MDMA, amphetamines, and industrial pill-making machinery stashed in the garage.

Brothers Behind Industrial-Sized Drug Production

Phone messages revealed Bryn and his older brother, 27-year-old Connor Graham—already behind bars for similar offences—ran a vast pill production and supply ring. Police raided their home again on 14 December 2025, discovering more equipment, 2kg of MDMA, 5,000 ecstasy pills, cocaine, and £1,800 cash.

The brothers were slapped with charges including producing MDMA, supplying ketamine and amphetamine, possession of cocaine (Bryn), and handling criminal property.

Lengthy Jail Terms Handed Down

At Maidstone Crown Court, the Graham brothers admitted the offences and breached suspended sentences. Bryn got seven years, while Connor, deemed the ringleader, was locked up for nine years and three months.

Detective Constable Steve Brown said: “This was a significant sentence for two men who ran an industrial-sized pill operation. The sheer volume of ecstasy and ketamine seized shows just how many lives they could have wrecked.”

“The brothers will also face a Proceeds of Crime hearing to strip them of their criminal profits,” he added.
