A Bristol man has been hit with multiple firearms charges after buying almost 40 handguns and making a homemade 3D-printed weapon.

Luke Fortune, 22, Arrested With Arsenal in Longwell Green

Luke Fortune, 22, from Longwell Green, was arrested in July 2024 by the National Crime Agency (NCA). Authorities found he had bought 35 top-venting blank firearms, three antique guns, and stockpiled over 1,000 bullets. Police also uncovered a 3D-printed submachine gun he had crafted himself.

The drama didn’t end there. In January, Avon & Somerset Police discovered two more weapons—a Glock-style pistol and a revolver—hidden in a bush close to Fortune’s house. He was immediately arrested again.
